Yes, new parents are annoying, what with all their constant showing off of baby pictures, and the first kid is always the worst. So sue me. It only happens to us once.

I returned from Pennsylvania to find that, despite my proximity to Three-Mile Island, I did not glow in the dark. I also found a surprise on Amazon: the book is available for pre-order!

Naturally, I feel all regular readers of this blog should buy two or three copies, though not necessarily from Amazon.

I also got a package in the mail today:

Baby picture #2 -- I guess this is the ultrasound?

So now I have to read this thing. Finally, I can sit down to figure out things like what to read at readings without being chained to a warm laptop.

    I like that the galley appears to be glowing–I guess you transfered your radioactivity! Anyway, congrats–this is exciting!
